- Need to revamp the home page with new content(content will be provide by abc)
- Need to re-design the right navigation pane(needs to be more creative, more than 1 samples would be a better idea)

· SMOP
o Describe SMOP (Content will be provided by abc)
o This may require you to create couple of images(sample is on the current website), this is merely a flow chart representation of what SMOP does or how it works
o Right page will change here and will carry links for Purchase, Download, Demo, ROI, Features, Refer a Friend, and FAQ etc.
· We could make this either db driven or hard coded for now from page to page
o Demo will be a just a series of screenshots (this will be provided by abc). It needs to have back, next and start links or buttons. Every or most of the screenshot will have small description/note on top as to what this screenshot is or does

- Allow user to select # of users from a dropdown
- Display matrix including what all features are included in what type of version e.g. Standard, Premium,
- It’ll show the appropriate price based on # of users selected
- Above both features list and price per # of users needs to be database driven so can be changed easily by admin without changing the code
- Allow user to enter the coupon code and Re-calculate the price
- It needs to display the original price and discounted price so user can see how much $$ they are saving
- Validate the coupon code for its validity
- Coupon code needs to carry the availability in terms of time or one time use etc.(db driven)
- Discount mainly be given in % so coupon code should allow an admin to specify how much etc.
- Link to send an email or call us for academic license
- “Buy now” button – It takes user to the next screen where they’ll fill out a form including Company Name, Contact Person Name and his contact details including phone, email, fax etc.
- Very clear indicator for email being to be valid as we’ll be sending the license key to this email address – we may have confirm email address
- All the input form details will be provided by abc
- Upon submitting this form, they will be directed to a form where they can enter credit card information – User should be given an ability to use Pay pal account as well. Mostly abc will sign up with Pay pal being the merchant service provider
- Need to generate a unique customer # for every successful purchase
- Customer # should be able to tell us if it was for standard or premium or enterprise
- Also needs to update the database appropriately and also trigger an email for abc sales admin to let know about the new purchase
- Also send a confirmation email to the customer saying another email will follow containing licensing information
- Way for user to upgrade their license from standard to premium or enterprise
- this needs to be discussed in detail as this depends on the business model

- Abc will provide us about 5-6 diff input to be asked to the user e.g. # of Users, # of helpdesk calls for Password Reset, # of time spent per call etc.
- Perform math and show the $$ amount company can potentially save by implementing SMOP

- It’ll have description of fully functional products as well as links to download the product (this will be provided by abc)
- We need to track and log IP address of the client machine that is downloading the software as well as date, timestamp, domain name and other possible information into the database
- In essence user will be downloading fully functional version of SMOP with having limit for # of users
- We need to be able to easily post these download links on places like download.com so we can easily post there and have users download our product
- This may also have link to download the update if someone already have the prior version of SMOP installed and working
- Optional Stay in touch section – It’ll have a simple form asking 3-4 inputs including Company Name, Contact Person’s name, email and phone #
- Populate the database with this info if provided
Support
- Users who have downloaded only trial version of SMOP will have to resolve their issues by reading through FAQ or product documentation or sending an email to support@abc.com without any customer #.
- Actual customers should be able to fill out the form and send a support request to abc with following information
- Customer #, License info (# of users), Subject Line, Detail description
- We may have to provide little bit of different features here based on type of license e.g. standard, premium, enterprise
- This needs to be database driven and every support request has to be logged into database as well as needs to trigger an email (which should be configurable e.g. paidsupport@abc.com)
- In future we may add an ability for customers (who has paid for the support) to open the tickets and track it – this is just to keep in mind while designing this portion but not part of this phase
FAQ
- This needs to be a database driven page which essentially will display various Q and A
- All the questions needs to be listed on top and are link and upon clicking link will take them to the actual answer
- Every question will be part of at least 1 more categories and every category will have bookmark defined. That way we can provide context sensitive links wherever appropriate
- This is important as the list grows
- Every question will have back to top link
